Paperback cook book bound with a white plastic spiral on the left edge and glossy covers. The front cover has the title, author, and date in blue lettering that is over the top of a blue-tinted image of the ocean. Since this cookbook was organized by "The Anchor Club" in Astoria, there is also an illustration of a white anchor in the lower left hand corner of the front cover, with its small white chain creating a border around the rest of the cover. Both the front and back covers, as well as  many interior pages, show staining and wear from the cook book's use in the kitchen.
