A historical novelization of Starr Wilkinson - Bigfoot. Chief Nampa. Not the mythical creature, but the human with a slight growth problem. The book is based on interviews, articles and diaries of the men involved in the story. As the son of the author I attest that this is an accurate synopsis, although I haven't reread it in twenty years.
