Work detail
Abstract: An authoritative, easily understood, medically and nutritionally based book for the general public provides tests and guidelines for reducing health risks and promoting health and nutrition status. The book is divided into two parts: the first provided 23 tests that a person can use to assess their risk for various types of diseases and their prevention (covering heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, stress, nutritional deficiency diseases and disorders, and the risks of fat diets); the second provides guidelines for a sound nutrition plan, exercise program, and lifestyle to reduce health risks. The total scores obtained for the tests are graded in terms of low, moderate, high, and very high risk.
