This volume brings together 13 articles from authors on the aspects of Jewish life in Bad Homburg between 1710 and today. The images beging with the history of Hebrew printing and the arrival of protected Jews in the 18th century. These articles deal with the economic and social establishment as well as the services of the Jewish citizens of their religious community and their city in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Using the example of three people, the racist persecution of the Third Reich is illuminated. The book concludes with contributions to the current work of remembering, for example, through the publication of "Stolpersteinen" or plannng an exhibition on the subject.
