From the presentations at a December 1994 international symposium in Gainsville, Florida, 27 were chosen to provide a complete summary of the recent and current research into angiotensin receptors in the several independent systems of the body in which they are now known to be present. The topics include the regulation of the genes for the receptors, interactions between them and neurotransmitters and peptides, their distribution in various tissues, varieties, and atypical receptors.
