Intertwined Realities
Work detail
While only a boy, John Wahba, who ostensibly is of Egyptian origin, experiences a paranormal trance which subsequently causes him to contend with the Anomalies Research Center in London during his teenage years. This organization, known simply as the ARC, publishes a scientific model of reality that explains the occurrence of all known paranormal manifestations. Through spectacular publicly staged exhibitions of supernatural ability, the political influence of the ARC is destined to sweep the world. Riding the wave of a radical shift in worldview is an international chain of Anomalies Bonding Centers. These bonding centers foster Marriage Groups whereby club members are joined in wedlock to hundreds of partners at a time. Bonding in this manner is proven to heighten paranormal ability within individuals. It should also be noted that within this novel a computer-based invention is disclosed which will guarantee that the European Union, rather than China, is the world's future economic powerhouse.
