Published towards the end of 2004, this book provides a primer on the different types of online music services: what they are good for, and how to use them for music discovery. Though many of the service details are now dated, the fundamentals haven't changed. The chapters on the types of services and the chapters on music information on the net have remained relevant. The "Music Discovery Plans" are least useful because they rely on specific service details that no longer hold true. I am surprised, actually, at how little has changed since I wrote this book.
