Role-play exercises for advanced students. 1970 - THE LANGUAGE OF DISCUSSION Discussions and arguments amongst friends or in business, defending one's point of view, attacking someone else's — all these activities need specific language skills and techniques. Advanced students cannot progress very far unless they have mastered these language functions, and can use them appropriately in a variety of contexts.
