All Jane Hollis has ever known about the father who abandoned her is his name - Andrew Hollis - until a newspaper exposes him to be the famous author and art critic Ben Tyrill, linked with a suspected international art forgery. His hiding place blown by the media, Jane impulsively travels to Amalfi in Italy to find him.
