Author Prof. Siddīq ‘Ali Mirza, pen name Siddīq Shāhid, (b. 24 May 1933) has been a lecturer of Urdu (literature) at various colleges of Punjab mostly in & around Shaikhupura. He retired in 1993 as Principal, Govt. Islamia College, Sangla Hill (Shaikhupura). His other published works include 5 poetical collections & one autobiography.
