The third Volume in the Wireless for the Warrior series, entitled ‘Reception Sets’, is devoted to receivers (also known as Reception Sets) used in the British Army over the period 1932 to the 1960s. The contents of this Volume is principally concentrated on the R100 to R508 series, but many other receivers with different nomenclatures are covered. Volume 3 consists of eight main chapters, each dealing with a distinct group of receivers (in total more than 70 receivers), introductory and general information pages and a number of appendixes.
