Aims to describe all the dated codices written in Hebrew characters from the beginning of the Middle Ages until 1280 A.D. preserved in all the world's libraries. In addition to Hebrew, the languages of the manuscripts were most frequently Aramaic, Arabic, French, German, and Spanish. Cf. p. 17-18.
