Rosetta
Work detail
As a child, Rose dreams of travelling the world, but in particular she wants to go to Rosetta, a mysterious town in Egypt after which she is named. Transfixed by this exotic world, she imagines that one day she'll visit the land of hieroglyphs and history. But instead Rose finds herself being forced to marry Harry Fallon, a man who is both handsome and duplicitous. With Harry, Rose finds both passion and a terrible secret - so she heads out alone on a journey to Egypt. She's determined to learn the truth about her husband's past and at the same time to realise her life-long desire for adventure.
