Aroma therapy is the art and science of using aromatic plants primarily in the form of essential oils for strengthening and maintaining human well being or for removing diseases when physical, emotional, mental or spiritual imbalance has occurred. These essential oils produce their beneficial effects upon the body, mind and spirit via nasal inhalation or skin absorption. The contemporary practice of aroma therapy finds its root in the teaching of the sages of ancient Hindu literature. So by simply introducing fragrance in the daily life, sages found that they could restore a lot of basic health issues.
