Young British Bomb Officer (They are all young) and his team of sappers unearth and disarm unexploded bombs left by German air raids on World War II London. Good character development and interesting scientific details as the German booby traps become increasingly dangerous. Time off duty offers off beat billeting and home made bomb shelters. This and Army red tape doesn't prevent a little romance. This is a good read.
