The British Council in partnership with the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Centre of Islamic Studies at the University of Cambridge, University Hassan II Casablanca, University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah Fes, University Mohamed V Rabat and the Moroccan British Society organised a symposium "Cambridge in Morocco: Perspectives on Islamic and North African Studies" from 16th to 20th April 2012 in Fes, Rabat and Casablanca. The event included prominent academic institutes in three Moroccan cities, where Cambridge and Moroccan scholars gave presentations on their own research.
