When a top research institute is vandalized, the police discover one of the eminent scientists has been brutally murdered. Dr. Dunbar of the Sci-Med Inspectorate is sent to investigate. A few of the research animals have also gone missing, and top-level authorities are strangely obsessed with hunting down and killing the purportedly harmless animals.
