Work detail
The book offers a review of the 30 first editions, celebrated in 2016 of the design prize Prêmio Design Museu da Casa Brasileira, main and oldest national award in the design industry, with over 600 projects covered. With the objective to stimulate the ideas about Brazilian design of this period, the book also features articles signed by three great researchers of the topic, Marcos da Costa Braga, Maria Cecilia Loschiavo and Chico Homem de Melo. On a timeline, the book brings together still the iconography of all the awarded projects, offering a vision of the wide panorama of organized national design which went by in the last three decades. To complement the reference information, there is a list of honorable mentions and jurors who participated in all the 30 editions.
