Tommy Olsson participated in Statens 130. Art exhibition in 2017, also known as the Autumn Exhibition, with the work 'The Art Critic is Present '. His contribution to the exhibition involved sitting at a table with two chairs at Kunstnernes Hus, in an attempt to make the art critic available to the public. The project was described as performance, social sculpture and relational aesthetics and had unexpected meetings and conclusions as a consequence. 'Present' documents Olsson's experiences from the project 'The Art Critic is Present' and is an account of the underlying motives, actual experience and the result of meeting many people with many opinions, in a short time. There is also an odyssey within the conversation about art, which sometimes moves far beyond Tommy Olsson deltok på Statens 130.
