This book contains a collection of papers presenting the state-of-the-art of research in the generic area of free surface flows. This includes water waves, bubbles, contact lines and axisymmetric liquid bridges. As well as contributed technical papers, there are four survey papers written by leading international experts, who spell out what progress has been made in the subject over the past decade and what remains as outstanding.
