Paperback book glued together on the spine. The covers are green, and show wrinkles and discoloring along the edges. The title and an image of an angel carrying lightning bolts and telephone cables is standing on a globe that says "Spirit of Communication; Bell System." The back cover has a "Bell System" logo in the center. There are also several black ink stains on the back cover. This issue is also the first time there is a 0.5" yellow line going around both covers. On each cover, the yellow line has the following words inside it: "See the Classified In This Directory; Yellow Pages; Its Yellow Pages Tell You Where To Buy It." In the center of the yellow line is also an illustration of an open book that has the words "Yellow Pages" inside it. Size: 6" x 9" ***This issue also has a grey supplement from April 1952 that is stuck into the back for the city of Westport.
