In July of 2017, the XIII Jornadas Nacionales de Historia de las Mujeres (National Women's History Conference Week) was held as part of the VIII Congreso Iberoamericano de Estudios de Género "Horizontes revolucionarios. Voces y cuerpos en conflicto" (Revolutionary horizons. Voices and bodies in conflict). One of the many academic offers of this 8th edition of the congress was the table "Memoria colectiva y transmisión. Experiencias de mujeres, género y feminismos". As a result of the quality of the works and exhibitions that were shared in that space, the possibility of taking these preliminary materials to an official publication was germinated. The outcome was the present book compiled by Claudia Bacci and Alejandra Oberti, and coincidentally, the 500th title of the Editorial Universitaria Villa María (Eduvim) In July of 2017, the XIII Jornadas Nacionales de Historia de las Mujeres (National Women's History Conference Week) was held as part of the VIII Congreso Iberoamericano de Estudios de Género "Horizontes revolucionarios.
