From a conversation held on the occasion of the extensive exhibition that the year 2019 presents Carlos Altamirano (Santiago, Chile 1954) in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, and that considers his artistic production between the years 1976 and 2019, a group of art scholars, historians and art critics reflect on the work of Altamirano, art in general and the art of Chile in particular. It is a dialogue and a review with several voices and with different perspectives that interwind in each of the texts that make up the book these three levels: the work of this artist, his territory and context of realization and the state of the art in the world.
