Lorel felt a shiver of alarm It ran like ice-cold water down her spine. A man, a blue-eyed stranger, had stormed into the room in the middle of her party and switched off the music, and now he furiously confronted Lorel. She stared at him, fighting back her instant rise of panic, slamming shut a door in her mind. While something in her found every line of his chiseled face, every ounce of his masculine arrogance, very familiar, she couldn't place him, didn't want to place him.
