Elisande’s soldier brother has been accused of treason but without proof, and suffering from amnesia of the events in question, he has not been formally charged. She resolves to seek out the truth and takes him to the home of his senior officer whose daughter he still loves. As the mystery unfolds, the enigmatic Lord Raven helps out along the way.
