"The Langhornes of Langhorne Park will attempt to correct several longstanding errors on the family, provide new genealogical and biographical data for four generations of descendants in America, and place them within the context of an interrelated web of primarily Quaker Pennsylvania families." -- Intro. Jeremiah Langhorne, son of Thomas, born 1672 in England, died in 1742 in Pennsylvania without issue. His sister Sarah, born 1675, married William Biles, Jr. and they had 9 children. Jeremiah served as a pro-proprietary assemblyman, chief justice of Pennsylvania, and speaker of the Pennsylvania Assembly.
