Liz had never particularly wanted to be married -- she hadn't a high enough opinion of men! -- and she certainly hadn't wanted to marry the half-Greek Nigel Shapani. Yet here she was, married to him indeed and firmly settled in his beautiful home in Delphi. How had it all happened? Unfortunately, under the terms of an eccentric will, if the two of them hadn't married two family fortunes would have been lost not only to Liz and Nigel, but to Liz's elderly relatives who needed the money.
