Baron Jack is the biography of Jack Gimberg, aka John Van Dreelen, the first Dutch Hollywood actor after WWII, and first Dutch TV star. After being discovered in London by Laurence Olivier, he celebrated triumphs on Broadway, followed by many leading roles in films, on television and on the stage. In America he played Baron Von Trapp in "The Sound of Music", Clive Rodingham in "Write Me a Murder" and Elyot in "Private Lives".
