Kim Slovak and carpenter Sophie Santos created "The Tradeswoman" in response to the underrepresentation of women in trade industries, highlighting union women electricians, construction workers, iron workers, elevator technicians, and carpenters. The zine comprises personal stories accompanied by photographs of the women being profiled.
