Dieting makes you fat
Work detail
Abstract: Revolving around the belief that inactivity and poor food choices are the main causes of disease in the Western world, the aim of this book is to encourage dieters to assume responsibility for their lives by changing their habits. This change involving regular exercise, fresh air, and good unprocessed food is supported by lengthy discussions of the benefits of all three. Citing scientific evidence/hypotheses; historial basis for western food patterns; basic physiological facts of exercise/nutrient utilization; and psychological concerns related to dieters are some of the topics presented. Some tables and statistics related to nutrients/exercise are included. (jdb).
