No matter how old you get, you need a good friend. Living in rural Billsborough County, a young robincalled Raymond and his best friend Bonnie, a blue tit, get into all sorts of adventures but they stick together and lean on each other’s strengths. In 'The Deserted Cottage', we see the young pals waking with the firm intention of spending another day having fun. They often visit nearby Fir Cottage where they can expect fresh food and water provided by kind old Mr Digweed. One snowy December day, Raymond and Bonnie fly the short distance to the cottage only to find it deserted with no sign of food and water. And ... Mr Digweed. is nowhere to be seen. Perplexed, and worried about the kind old man, their normally safe and peaceful environment is then threatened by the arrival of two suspicious-looking strangers with less than friendly intentions. Who are these intruders, and what, exactly, do they want? Far from being fun, this turned out to be a very challenging day that the little feathered chums will never forget.
