Excellent work combining a genealogy of the extensive Pilon family of the United States and Canada, with the descendants of Thomas Pilon who came to the Detroit area with his wife and four children circa 1850. One of those children, five year old Francis Xavier, later fathered 20 children between the 1860s and the early 1900s. His widow had 234 living descendants when she died in 1950. One of their grandchildren, Thomas Bernard Pilon, has been the focus of the book, written by two of his children.
