James Barnor, ever young
Work detail
Published on the occasion of an exhibition in Paris, Gallery Clementine de la Féronnière, from October 8 to November 21, 2015. This fine book is the first work of this great photographer who has had a pioneering role in the African photography. It brings together the essential part of James Barnor, during 30 years of color images and black and white (about 200 photographs); it includes several texts, including an interview with Margaret Busby and Francis Hodgson. Renée Mussai, curator at Autograph ABP, which manages the work of James Barnor since 2009, and Kobena Mercer, professor at Yale University, signed articles.
