Redemption is defined as the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt. The state had determined that I owed a dept to society. Whether I had intended to commit a crime or not was of no concern during my trial or sentencing...I just had to be concerned with the consequences. This is the telling of my road to redemption.
