Censure et critique
Work detail
Since the publication in 1959 of Reinhart Koselleck's "Le Règne de la critique," censorship and criticism have appeared as irreconcilable concepts. This volume moves the investigation into the field of literary studies, addressing issues of censorship, criticism, and the author's reponsibility over a long period of time (the 17th-20th centuries) and from a multidisciplinary approach. The articles collected in this volume investigate censorship and criticism as forms of the reception of texts, the function of censorship and criticism of structuring literature, and the discourses contained within censorship and criticism.
