Could I Forget
Work detail
For years, Richard Cliffe had been the medical doctor of Harristown, at Yorkshire moors. When newly qualified Philip March set himself up as a rival, Cliffe hoped his own patients would reject the young medical doctor's newfangled theories. But, he was wrong, the townspeople flocked to the new surgery, and Cliffe's practice dwindled... Her daugther, Laura has never liked young Dr. Marsh, because when he first came, her father's medical practice suffered. But, she is drawn to the handsome stranger, and he cares deeply for her. After her father died, loyalty and pride stood between them like a wall. However, the rising tide of Philip's love begins to weaken her defences, until, one night, she surrenders her heart. Then her jealous sister schemes to steal Philip's heart away. Could Laura ever forget the betrayal that tears her world apart?
