This is a review, tips, and strategy guide for Game Boy games. There are 28 "In-Depth Reviews", with tips, strategies and screenshot maps, and a "Directory", with box art, two screenshots, number of players, and short description/strategy for each game. "The Game Pak Index", has a listing of each game released in the U.S.A., giving the name of the company, number of players, game ratings for; Graphics & Sound, Play Control, Challenge, Theme & Fun from zero to 5.0. Its "Index" also shows if the game has a password or save feature, tells what type of "Category" a game it is, and the page it is mentioned on. There are greyscale screen shots, as well as color illustrations, and occasional maps of various games. A companion book was released in 1994 covering the "Super Game Boy" games. The reviews and previews were written by 11 writters; Scott Pelland, George Sinfield, Dan Owsen, Leslie Swan, Mike Frazier, Kevin Johnson, Frank Marrone, Chuck Booten, Pete Remine, Jane Hacker, and Fred Nava listed in the credits as "Editors". There is no ISBN, or ISSN number, however there is a UPC 045496690274. It was originally priced at $15 in the USA, and $21 in Canada.
