"In an introductory note, author explains the genesis of his latest poem as an allegory of the search for adventure, compared with the lack of adventure of contemporary modern life , i.e., contrasting the Homeric seafaring Odyssus with the urban Joycean Ulysses. Work is inspired by a canto from Dante's Inferno about the last voyage of Odyssus.
