Lynn, a writer whose thirteen-year relationship with Claire just went bust, has started to regroup by spending some time between the sheets with Lexy (rhymes with sexy), a much younger and uninhibited bartender. Lynn is also consoling herself with Jude, the young and alluring daughter of a feminist artist famous for carving oversize wooden sculptures of women's genitals.
