Indian Peter is a the true story of Scot Peter Williamson, abducted as a young boy from Aberdeen and sold into indenture servitude in the American colonies. It follows his life in the colonies, where he was abducted by Native Americans, and then went to war against the French. He was exchanged as a prisoner of war and returned to Britain, where he embarked on a long legal battle against the Aberdeen businessmen behind the slave trade. along the way, he became a bar owner, publisher and writer. It is a tale of high adventure, enterprise and legal skullduggery.
