Sit with me now while I tell you this tale of great adventure. Hear how an American boy, stranded on the savage coast of Africa, survives to become the mightiest warrior of his time. Read how he passes the ancient tests set forth by the tribal ancestors; of his companionship with one of the most feared of all jungle animals; of a treasure buried in a long forgotten city, and the evil man who will stop at nothing to get it. The Golden Warrior must learn many things as he grows into manhood, the adopted son of a great chief. He learns nobility, not only from his birth parents, but from his adoptive parents, and their people as well; proving that such honor comes not from ones color, but from within. Lessons of race become as important as those of survival, when his titanic strength is tested time and again, from the steamy jungles, to the danger filled African plains - home of Shantala, the man-eater. When an evil sheik massacres the villagers and takes the young people hostage, The Golden Warrior returns and discovers the devastation on his beloved tribe. Unsure if he will survive to complete his task, this barbarian youth bids farewell to those who survive and those who do not, as he begins his hunt for the most dangerous of all jungle animals - man!
