Based on the bestselling books by James Herriot, All Creatures Great & Small remains one of the BBC’s most popular television programmes ever produced. All Memories Great and Small book cover Released as part of the 100th birthday celebrations for the real James Herriot, Alf Wight, All Memories Great & Small is an ideal companion to the series. Every episode is accompanied by exclusive memories, thanks to 60 new interviews with cast and crew. Stars Christopher Timothy, Robert Hardy, Peter Davison and Carol Drinkwater are joined by dozens of guest stars and members of the production team, many of whom have never shared their memories of making this television classic before. Tributes are also paid by family members of those no longer with us. This book is also packed with insight into all 90 episodes, including original synopses, credits, production and transmission dates, viewing figures and dozens of previously unpublished behind the scenes photographs. The author, Oliver Crocker, was inspired to write All Memories Great & Small, his first book, after a visit to the World of James Herriot museum in 2015. He now works for a digital media agency. He lives in London with his wife Tessa and their cat Rocco. He tracked down and interviewed surviving cast and crew for the DVD releases of Z Cars and Dixon of Dock Green. As a researcher, his TV credits include BBC's Something for the Weekend and ITV's This Morning.
