The novel is a family saga of Monte and Garcia de Veres families situated in Italy and Spain. It is a story which tells how a little lie, about the background of an adopted orphan, causes a string of, new, bigger lies which significantly influence the life of each and every member of both families. In 2002 the author obtained a scholarship form the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to explore historical and cultural settings of Cadiz (Andalucia).
