The exhibition presents in Argentina the international collection of the Museo Tamayo, and is the result of a cultural collaboration with the Fundacion Prosa that began in 1996. This edition was conceived to document and research the exhibited art work. The museography was designed with a didactical purpose allowing the public a better understanding of the fundamentals of aesthetics during the 20th century following the history of figurative style, the beginning of abstract art, and an extraordinary group of art works of kinetic and optical art. Includes works by Pablo Picasso, Max Ernst, Fernand Leger, Roberto Matta, Joaquin Torres-Garcia, Wifredo Lam, Henry Moore and others.
