Irish-born Maureen O'Callaghan Stevenson gets an opportunity to do what few American citizens ever do--meet the president of the United States! Thanks to their friendship with the wealthy widow Mrs. Figg, Maureen and her cousin, Mark Morgan, get to shake hands with Theodore Roosevelt.
