Early in June of 1823, Lord Byron chartered a ship to take him from Genoa to Greece. This is the story of that voyage, which ended a few months later with his death in Cephalonia. It provides a delightful glimpse into the personality of poet, whilst interacting with those who accompanied him on the voyage.
