“Terry In Orandu” is best described as a Christian, fantasy, fairytale for children of all ages. The story centers around Terry Michaels, an eight year old boy who is in a coma following a car accident. But, while Terry is in an earthly hospital in a coma, he is also in another world, Orandu. There he meets the Moldoe, a people much like us but who live in villages in the trees. He also is befriended by Colossus, a friend of the Moldoe, who is a sixty foot long solid black Monitor lizard who is not only intelligent but can also speak. From Colossus and the Moldoe Terry hears much about Marlon, who he is told is the creator of Orandu. Terry also learns that Marlon has placed him in Orandu for his head to heal. While in Orandu Terry has many adventures, makes many friends and learns much of the history of Orandu and the Moldoe. But not everything is peace and great adventures. There are also the Frogmen, an evil people bent upon the destruction of the Moldoe and a large creature that seeks to defeat Colossus. What comes of Terry? Does his head heal or does he remain in a coma? Do the Frogmen prevail and what happens when Colossus and the great creature finally battle? And who is Marlon? Find out.
