Spot Diagnosis in General Surgery
Work detail
This book takes the student through a revision course in general surgery. It consists of a collection of colour photographs of patients, operations, pathological specimens, X-rays and CT scans, which is designed to be used in conjunction with Lecture Notes on General Surgery. Each case is presented as a photograph with a very brief description and relevant history and is followed by questions which test the reader's skills of diagnosis and management. Answers are given in a separate section at the end. The second edition includes more 'spots' and the text has been revised and brought up to date. It should continue to provide the practice the student needs for the 'oral' and short cases parts of Finals in surgery.
