Vengeance
Work detail
"Dan Colley was a reformed gunfighter, turned ranger and married to a farmer's daughter. But trouble couldn't leave him alone because Dan was not the kind of man to sit idly by while a neighbour farmer was in danger of his life from a cattle king too big for his boots. So Dan made it his business to escort the farmer out of town for a while - or so he figured. Unfortunately one of the cattle king's hired hands attempted a bushwhack. Which only meant that Dan brought the hired hand back slung over a horse and very dead. Then the cattle king eliminated farmer Swigley. That was when Dan Colley got mad - and all hell broke loose."--Publisher description.
