An Answer To A Declaration Put forth by the general Consent of the People called Anabaptists, In and about the City of London. Which Declaration doth rather seem a begging of Par- don of the Cavaliers, then a Vindication of that Truth and Cause once Contended for. I seeing so much wickedness, Confusion, Fear and Unbelief in so small a thing in Vindication of themselves publickly to the Nation, it was upon me to Answer something to it; and my end in so doing is rather to In- struct them, then to shame them.
